[Attack on Titan] The Titan's Shadow Story Summarization *WRITING*

Attack on Titan; The Titan's Shadow takes place in an alternate reality parallel to the real universe. The story revolves around several young heroes, one of which is named Chadwick Stafford, who lived in the peaceful town in the Shiganshina District, the same town as Eren Jaeger. The 13 year old boy and his 11 year old sister were out gathering water for the Stafford Family and unfortunately returned to their home when one of the Colossal Titans in the series struck the outer wall. Titan's violently flooded into the city and attacked, one stepping on Chadwick's house and crushing his mother, his brother barely escaped out from the rubble only to be picked up and eaten. Chadwick managed to grab hold of his sister and pulled her away from the titan's sight and the two escaped the city unknowing that several others that would be a great help to them in the future did as well, They escaped before the Armored Titan burst through the wall, the Shiganshina District was lost. Several years past and Chadwick had joined the 104th Trainee Squad alongside his sister's wishes and his own secret ambition from something he learned from his father. There the two met multiple other members such as Orion Slade, He and Chadwick first had some rivalry issues but the two overcame them. Having graduated as a top member, Chadwick, his sister Sarah, Orion, and multiple other graduates the 104th Trainees Squad and were on the opposite side of the city in the inner walls when the Colossal Titan reappeared. They were in a different squad than Eren Jaeger and the other members. Their squad were attacked by several titans on the same day as the Battle of Trost, Some members were lost but not many. Shortly after the battle, when Eren, Mikasa, and Armin were held at cannon fire after the army figured out he could titan shift, Chadwick met with Dot Pixis, the highest ranking Garrison soldier. He convinced Pixis to talk to the commander of the Survey Corps, he was reluctant to give Chadwick a squad named the Brigadier Force after a few weeks of consideration (Which is why Dot Pixis wasn’t there to stop the hostage like scene with Eren and the others sooner). Erwin Smith, the Commander of the Survey Corps decided it’d be best, knowing Chadwick’s skills in the camp, Enlisting Chadwick aas it's commander, he came to a conclusion stating he had to obtain his own members to enlist in the Brigadier Force. From that moment on, Chadwick recruited his fellow graduates from the Trainee Squad and the group has defeated many titans, each of these heroes learning secrets about their past and their futures. Although, learning these secrets are both helpful and harmful, especially when the group learns what happens when you realize anyone can become a Titan due to a serum created by none other than the father of all titan Shifters and the secret to Chadwick’s search.

Attack on Wall Maria Arc
The story begins in the Shinganshina District with Chadwick Stafford, a young 13 year old boy who was sent on an errand with his younger sister, 11 year old Sarah Stafford. Their mother had sent them outside of their home town to the nearest cliff sides to fetch water for the dinner that night. At this time, a 14 year old boy named Markus Ritter, was walking alongside his 14 year old girlfriend named Caroline Hartmann. The two were roaming the city streets for it was their 9 month anniversary and Markus was wanting to get her something nice. The two past a house where a young 12 year old boy was sitting on the porch next to his father. This young boy was named Orion Slade, his father was a veteran in the Survey Corps, Bill Slade, who had just past his 1 year mark of residing inside the Survey Corps. The story cuts back to Chadwick and his sister, Chadwick is seen to be agreeing with his sister, who wants to join the Survey Corps and explore the outside world, hoping to live outside them in peace. Chadwick was not only concerned of his sister's dreams, but he was also concerned with the disappearance of their father, Charles Stafford, who had gone on a science expedition outside of Wall Maria and went missing. This day marked his 1 month anniversary. In almost an instant, orange lightning shot out from the sky just outside the wall, where a a 50 meter titan, also known as the Colossal Titan, appeared. It kicked down the wall sending a huge gust of wind to stir around the town alongside the panicking civilians. Chadwick dropped the water he was holding and grabbed his sister's arm. The two ran back to their house while on another street, Orion's older brother named Axel, ran the opposing way, he scrambled through streets looking for his girlfriend. He eventually ran past Markus and Caroline who were running as fast as they could to try to get to the gate leading into Wall Rose. Meanwhile, at Chadwick's position, they stopped in their tracks about a hundred yards away from their house. A huge, 15 meter titan came out into view as it stepped onto their house, crushing everything inside it, including their mother. Chadwick and Sarah's brother ran out of the back hoping to escape the titan, although it was too late, the black haired titan picked up their sibling and held him by the collar of his shirt. The titan dropped him into his mouth and bit down, blood sprayed out across the surrounding buildings. Sarah stood holding her hands to her mouth in disbelief as Chadwick sank to his knees. A few streets over, Axel managed to find his girlfriend and grabbed hold of her as the sounds of the Armored Titan drew close. Chadwick stood up and a tear ran down his face. He clenched his fists and let his anger take over him, charging at the black haired titan only to be tackled a few seconds later by Markus, who had arrived on that street after Caroline was lost out of view. The two had a small struggle as they got to their feet, Markus held Chadwick back as Chadwick clenched his fists and tried to get free from his grasp. Markus managed to reason with Chadwick after the titan disappeared from sight. Chadwick gave a small vow under his breath as he turned and ran to his sister. He grabbed her arm and motioned for Markus to follow as they ran to the gate. They eventually got onto a small ferry leading to the inner districts of Wall Rose, where they would later reunite with Caroline, who had got disrupted in the crowd in the Shinganshina District.

104th Trainees Squad Arc
3 years after the fall of Shinganshina, the now 16 year old named Chadwick Stafford had decided to join the Military alongside his sister. Markus and Caroline had also joined with them. They were to train for years in a boot camp, by the trainee commander, Keith Shadis. The first day of training wasn't too hard, the instructor just went around asking the soldiers why they joined. He first talked to Markus, who stated he joined to avenge the life of his grandmother and to kill the titans. He then talked to Chadwick, calling him 'short'. Chadwick stated that he would join the Survey Corps and kill every single titan alive to avenge his mother and brother. The group then met Orion Slade, who was eating a piece of meat he had stolen from the boot camp's kitchen. The instructor decided to confront Orion leaving Chadwick and Markus unattended. Markus picked up a pebble and tossed it over to Chadwick, who threw it at the commander. The commander then put everyone who laughed at the moment in the 'silence hall'. The Silence hall serves like a detention room, where people go and have to remain silent at a table that sits in a small little cabin outside of the boot camp. Chadwick, Markus, and Orion were in that room alongside Sarah, Caroline, Orion's brother Axel, and a girl named Annabelle. Despite the rules, the group held a small conversation only to be called to the dining hall a few minutes later by a girl named Katherine Schmidt. Katherine said everyone was to get to the dining hall except for Chadwick, Markus, and Orion. The instructor wanted to speak with them privately. A few minutes later, the three met up with the commander who was sitting in a room similar to the silence hall. He asked them what they wanted to kill titans for, again. Afterwards, he instructed them that they were chosen soldiers to be tested for the commanding rank in a new group called the 'Brigadier Force.' The three accepted the offer and went back to their normal lives in the boot camp. The next day, the instructor observed the three's performance at the daily training. The three had succeeded at the 3D Maneuver gear station, they also succeeded at hand to hand combat and blade fighting. The soldiers then trained for the next few years until graduation day. The soldiers that graduated in the top 10 of day 2 were Sarah Stafford taking the first rank, Chadwick as second, then Markus, Orion, Caroline, Annabelle, Axel, Katherine, and two guys named Martin and Frederick taking the 9th and 10th place ranks.

Battle for the Trost District Arc
One week after graduating, the Top 10 students for Day 2 of the graduation were to patrol the wall that held the Trost District inside it. This would be their final test before Division Choosing was held, which was the next week. Chadwick admires the Trost district alongside Markus and Orion as the Colossal Titan appears and kicks a hole in the middle of the wall, allowing titans into the Trost district. The soldiers panicked as Chadwick called order. He stated for everyone to get on their horses and ride back the castle located inside Wall Sina, it was there that they would get orders on what to do. The soldiers managed to get on their horses and they all started riding to Wall Sina, except for Markus and Axel, who decided to stay back in the district and keep the titan numbers to a minimum. This didn't work for there were more titans coming in than they could kill. The other soldiers arrived at the Trost district about a half an hour later with orders to kill all remaining titans in the district. The soldiers did so, and they were good at it. The heroes wouldn't last forever, an hour passed before the rain started to fall. Annabelle shot across the city next to Chadwick. Chadwick was on a rampage due to seeing a ton of black haired titans, he had a secret hatred for black haired titans ever since one killed his family. Annabelle stated he would run out of gas soon, although Chadwick did not listen. He sped off and went on a killing streak eventually running out of gas like Annabelle stated. Markus was nearby and stopped to help Chadwick, Chadwick did not accept the offer, he told Markus to rally everyone up and send them to the castle located on the edge of the Trost district and that he would create a distraction for the titans in the lower part of the district. Markus tried to make a statement but was cut off by Chadwick running down the street. Markus did so and got everyone to head to the Castle that was near the gate into Wall Rose. Chadwick ran around the streets looking for an abandoned gas can, he eventually did find one after he was tailed by a 3 meter titan. Attempting to get the gas tank, Chadwick was then surrouned by the 3 meter titan and a larger 10 meter titan, he wasn't seen after that. Meanwhile back at the castle, the Garrison called everyone inside and put together a strategy plan. The plan was to get the soldiers inside the Trost District inside wall rose where it was safe, and a more battle plan for taking the Trost district would be made. Martin Stopped the Garrison soldier before he left and asked him to read a list of names who died in the district. The soldier did so and stated that Chadwick was one of the people dead, with a small 7% chance that he was still alive. Markus and the other soldiers got angry and left the castle where they later went inside wall Rose and were to help a kid named Eren Jaeger close the hole to the Trost District.

Attack on Wall Rose Arc
Several hours later, Sarah Stafford and the other soldiers hooked up their gear. They were to help in the killing of the titans while Eren sealed the hole in the wall shut. Titans were trying to climb up the wall as Markus stood at the side and looked over. He had a terrible thought and stumbled backwards over the cannon railway. He almost fell off the wall, although Frederick managed to pull him back. Only to have Markus shove him off. Caroline confronted Markus and the two got into a small argument resulting him Markus shooting off into the district as soon as the 'Mission Start' Flare was fired. Martin, Sarah, and Caroline went into the district while Frederick, Katherine, and Annabelle stayed back and dealt with the titans, Orion and Markus were already in the district killing titans. A few minutes past until a red flare was shot into the sky. Markus followed it and his gaze fell upon Commander Dot Pixis and a hooded man standing on the wall observing the mission. Caroline noticed the hooded man too, and was even awarded with a thumbs up from him. After observing Orion and Markus, Dot Pixis and the hooded man left the wall and headed towards the inside of Wall Rose. The mission was later a success.

Division Choosing and birth of the Brigadier Force Arc
Being Written (Chadwick forming the group with permission from Dot Pixis and Erwin Smith. He later appears in front of the Cadets after Erwin recruited for the Survey Corps. He was now wearing his new Brigadier Force outfit and recruited everyone from his 104th Trainees Squad division.)

Nimble Titan Arc
Being Written (Also explains their first mission defending the Utopia District. Later, after the defend of the Utopia District, Chadwick turns into a titan during the Battle of the Klorva District.)

Defending of Wall Rose Arc
Being Written (The Brigadier Force pushes the titan onslaught out of the districts within Wall Rose and manage to defend the wall until it is busted in by a mysterious titan later revealed to be a Titan shifter from a secret organization outside the walls and located in the forest keen on destroying the walls.

Armored Titan Arc
Being Written (Orion Turns into a titan during the Battle of the Karanese District and dukes it out with the mysterious Shifter while Chadwick, Sarah, and the others fend off the normal titans infiltrating the Karanese District.)

Secrets of the Titans Arc
Being Written (The Shifter manages to escape the Brigadier Force's grasps and escapes the walls while the Survey Corps chase after it alongside the others chasing the Female Titan into the forest. The high ranked soldiers take this story arc to put the pieces together and take information they gained on the titans to the commander of the other military divisions.)

The Colossal/Taking back Trost Arc
Being Written (After revealing the information the the commanding soldiers in the military divisions and to the king, the Brigadier Force are out on Wall Rose looking out over the districts residing in Wall Maria. One of the Three Colossal Titans magically shows up outside Wall Maria kicking down another portion of the wall letting titans get in. Chadwick sends the Special Operations Squad out to defend the left side of the perimeter while Orion defends the opposite side with the (Squad). Sarah, Annabelle, and the Wall Defending squad head out to confront the Colossal Titan. Sarah manages to fend the Colossal Titan off after it smacked it's hand down onto Annabelle

Clash of the Titan Heroes Arc
Being Written (After Annabelle is on the brink of death, Chadwick and the others clear out the Trost District and regain Wall Maria from the Titans. After a few squad leaders stare around and recover some of the damages. Chadwick sends the rest of the Wall defending squad out to repair the walls. He heads off the wall and after the Titan Shifting Colossal in hopes of gaining information to see if there is any hope for Annabelle. The Squads head out into the forest.)

1st Expedition Arc
Being Written (The Brigadier Force follows out their orders as they work their way throughout the plains scouting for titans. The squad leaders are in charge of this while Orion sets after Chadwick.)

Infiltrating the Forest Arc
Being Written (After finding a group hiding out in the midst of the forest, Chadwick is denied access to any answers. Doing this, he gets angry after seeing the glimpse of his father and for the amount of time he losing. He transforms into his Titan but is immediately cut off by Orion in his titan form. The two duke it out allowing Chadwick's father and his group of titan shifters to escape further into the forest, leaving important information behind in the process.)

Lofty Titan Arc
Being Written (While Chadwick and Orion have their little dispute, The Brigadier Force stumble upon a Shifter during their expedition outside the walls. Squad Leaders such as Sarah send out flares telling the Special Operations Squad to draw it towards the middle. After a while they eventually defeat the titan and it is revealed to be Special Operations Squad Leader Markus Ritter, he could not control his newly found titan shifting powers.)

Plan to Defend the World Arc
Being Written (Orion manages to drag Chadwick back to the walls after searching through the now deserted hideout of the titan shifters. They recovered evidence showing that if a titan shifter gave their blood to someone who was on the brink of death, it would help them. Chadwick quickly does so trying to help Annabelle when lightning strikes all around. Titan shifters break through the walls and titans infiltrate each of the three walls. Chadwick orders everyone to their positions. The Brigadier Force rushes off to protect the districts leaving Chadwick on the wall donating blood to Annabelle. Chadwick was able to retain his human form for at this point in time, he was able to control when his mind wanted to shift or not making him able to donate blood and not transform in the process.)

Titans vs Titans Arc
Being Written (Orion and [Name] battle a group of Titans, Abnormal Titans, and Titan Shifters in the Stohess District located within Wall Sina. Later accompanied by Chadwick after reviving Annabelle.)

Deciding the fate of humanity Arc
Being Written After the Stohess District is safe. The Brigadier Force move into the districts of Wall Sina after Titans invade it. Chadwick, Orion, Sarah, and a few others move out to the districts in Wall Maria and Wall Rose.)

Destruction of Wall Maria and Rose/Defending of Wall Sina Arc
Being Written (Battle between the Military and the Titans within the 9 Districts and Walls)

Sacrifice Arc
Being Written (After clearing out the Districts from each of the titan onslaughts, a colossal titan appears behind Wall Maria, another rising up outside of Wall Rose where the majority of the Brigadier Force leaders met up at. A third colossal rose up at Wall Sina. At the same time, the three kicked down the walls while Titan shifters piled through alongside other titans filling the districts back up.)

Final Defending Arc
Being Written ([Name] and the Wall Defending Squad defend Wall Sina from one of the smaller Colossal titans and other titans. Orion and the Special Operations Squad deal with the largest Colossal Titan attacking Wall Rose. The remaining members clear out the districts from Titans, Abnormal titans, and Titan shifters leaving Chadwick and Sarah to deal with the last Colossal titan alone, their father.)

End of the Titans Arc
Being Written (After the defeat of the titan shifters and the Colossal titans, The Brigadier Force clears out the three walls leaving the districts within Wall Rose, Wall Maria, and Wall Sina in peace. The land is once again free from the titans. However, the tyranny of the titans is not over and the Brigadier Force will clear out the rest of the world and rid it from these horrific monsters known as the Titans.)
